I invite you to come fishing with me and stay at scenic Sodus Point, New York. The small town of Sodus Point has a lot to offer when it comes to not only the scenery but also plenty of places to dine within walking distance of my dock and most of all to the fisherman, one of the best places on the lake to go fishing. Sodus Bay is where my boat is docked and its waters surround the Point. My boat is just a few minutes away from the lake, so it doesn't take long to get to the fishing hot spots. Once you are on the lake you can see why this area offers such great fishing as your eyes follow the shoreline and you can see the points that extend out from the shoreline out into the lake offering ideal habitat for all of our fish species. The Point is located about midway in between Rochester and Syracuse and is easy to get to from the New York State thruway via route 14.
